Why Did God Make ME?

The reason God created man, created you, was because He wanted to. He did not need anybody, He is God. He needs nothing. He is complete. God is all sufficient. With or without us, God the Almighty was, is, and always will be. Our Gather brought us into existence because it was His choice. His desire, His will, He wanted to. His love brought us forth. We are here for His pleasure.

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Revelation 4:11

Why does a painter create? He makes things because he wants them. There is a creation inside of him waiting to get out, maybe to show or share with others. He molds for his pleasure and that creation serve a purpose. The purpose could be for his eyes alone or for the piece to be useful to others also. The painter paints because he loves to. He wants to create something beautiful or meaningful. His viewpoint of something can be seen by someone else. A writer writes to bring forth a wonderful story to enjoy and share with others, maybe to inform the world of important matters. Maybe the writer only jots down his thoughts for his own use, but he writes because that is how he expresses and shows his feelings.

What about a football coach? He desires to form the best football team there ever was. The coach wants to be proud of his team, to show their efforts to others. An inventor invents because something is wanted or needed, maybe so life could be a little simpler. He is delighted to bring into existence something that never was before. God is our Creator; we are made for His pleasure because He wanted to make us. He desires us around Him. He wants to enjoy our company. We are an expression of His love. We are made in His image. We would not have been born if He did not love us. Our Father wants to share with us all that He has. We are created for His glory. We are created for His use and purpose.

…all things were created by Him, and for Him. Colossians 1:16

Because of God’s will, for His pleasure, He formed us. Without Him, without his love, we wouldn’t be.

God Hears Your Prayers

If God always answered all our prayers "yes" at a snap of a finger, He would be our servant, instead of us being His.

Prayer is and has been practiced by millions of people. It is practiced by many religions, even those without religion. It comes from an inside acknowledgement that we have a need for a higher power, an acknowledgement that we are not almighty ourselves. We realize that we need something or somebody else with greater power and control than we have.

The reason we pray is because we were originally created in God's image, but we fell into sin and death. We now represent that sin and death. The image of God in us has almost been destroyed, yet deep within us there still remains Godly desires. This is where our need to pray comes from.

God hears prayers right then and there. Although Our Lord's answers can be instantly yes, they are not always that way. Sometimes He tells us to wait- it's in the making, other times the answer is no because that prayer was not in His will. Our Heavenly Father has not forgotten you or your requests. He knows of prayers you don't even remember. God has a divine purpose in prayer, He wants us to ask Him for our needs and wants, He wants us to run to Him with our every little whim and desire.

Pray without ceasing. 1 Thes 5:17

God is our Father and He wants us to communicate and depend on Him daily. However, we cannot expect the Almighty Creator of the universes to jump every time we ask. Our Lord will be happy to grant our wishes if the request is in His purpose, His will, His timing. Our God the Father has His own plans already written out for us and for all the earth.

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jer 29:11 LVB

In Luke 11:1-4 Jesus teaches us how to pray. The very first thing He tells us to do is to approach God as "Our Father who is in Heaven". Being made in His image, we were Gods children. Having fallen into sin and death through Adam, a "son of God", (Luke 3:23-38), the human race from then on lost their sonship with the Father. We can no longer call the Creator of the universe "Our Father who is in Heaven".

The ones who can call Him Father are the ones who believe that Jesus Christ is God's only Son, the ones that have repented and believe that Jesus has died, rose again, and forgiven their sins, the ones that have accepted Christ as their Savior.
When we ask Jesus in our heart, God receives us as His own. He adopts us. We can now honor Him and call His name Holy. We can call Him Father (Rom 8:14-17). We are His children, His heirs.
As children of God, the desire in our heart changes towards the desire in our Father's heart. We begin to see what He has, what He can give us, what our Father can do for us and what He has already done in us. We tend to want the goodness, the love, the mercy, grace and the gifts our Lord has for us. We grow closer to Him as we search for more of these things from Him. We want to know more about His ways. The closer we are to Him, the more we want to have what He wants for us. We are now in His will. God's blessings and positive answers to our prayers come from being in His will and walking closely with Him.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:24
But why didn't God hear my cries!?
Sometimes it seems God doesn't hear us. It can be that what we have asked for will only benefit what we want, not what God wants. We are naturally selfish people and it is normal to ask for something for our own motives.
And even when you do ask you don't get it because your whole aim is wrong-- you want only what will give you pleasure. James 4:3 LVB
We need to ask for things that God wants for us, things in His will, for our Father's will to be done.
Jesus was human. He had a lot of pressure on Him, but He still chose His Father's will, not His own.
And he went forward a little, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass away from me: nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt. Matt 26:39
Many times our heart is hurting, but we have to wait a while for our answer. Meanwhile, God wants us to grow with Him thru the trial, to rely on Him thru the waiting. He wants to fellowship with us, to walk and talk along the way so we can grow stronger in our faith and love towards Him. There are times when God wants us to experience the comfort of His healing presence. He wants us to know what we can achieve with His help. Our time with the Father is very precious to both Him and ourselves.
A young child relies on his parents to fix everything. We as parents want our child to grow in knowledge and strength along the way and to grow in love and trust towards us. God is our Father and wants the same thing for us.
and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious. Exodus 22:27
Certain kinds of prayers are always heard. Prayers of forgiveness are always answered.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
Prayers of thanksgiving and adoration are appreciated. This tells our Father that we know where our blessings come from. We acknowledge the fact that He is all powerful, all knowing, all gracious, loving and merciful.
Our prayers should be to glorify the Lord, not ourselves.
God know the outcome of each and every prayer before it is even asked. He knows if a few more years to our life on earth will forever change the outome of our eternal life.
As His child, when we follow the example of the Lords prayer, (Matt. 6:9-14) we will be praying for God's will to be done, for His provisions, His forgiveness, and His protection. This is all that is needed. We will be honoring and exalting His name. This is the Lord's will.
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. Matt 6:6-8
Pray for Jesus to live in your heart and dwell in your live forever!

Keep it Clean

Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the Lord your God. Begin to build the sanctuary of the Lord God, so that you may bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord and the sacred articles belonging to God into the temple that will be built for the Name of the Lord." 1 Chronicles 22:19

Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?
Proverbs 20:9

Our heart belongs to the one who made it. We need to try to keep it spotless by devoting our all to the Lord. Everything we have, junk or not, should be given up to our Heavenly Father.

The sanctuary is a holy place, a sacred place to worship God. It is to be clean and pure. Our heart is this sanctuary where we are to be spotless to before God. He wants us to rise up and build this sanctuary, to make it holy and clean for Him. We can bring in vessels filled with His love when our stuff is removed. God wants us to bring His sacred containers into the deep chambers of our heart.

Our lives should be filled with nothing but God’s love. Our bodies are His temple.

You yourselves know that you are God's temple sanctuary. Don't you know that the Spirit of God lives in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16

Since we are God’s temple and His Spirit lives in us, shouldn’t we give everything up that isn't His? If it isn’t from God, it doesn’t need to be there and it isn’t even good for us.

Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward being; therefore teach me wisdom in my secret heart. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Psalm 51:6-7

Our Father wants a clean house. Nobody likes a mess. He desires nothing but His love and truth in us. Shouldn’t we keep God’s temple clean and free of dis-eases? Clean out your closets for the One who loves you. He can take it all away.

“Lord, I thank You for sending Your Son to die for my sins. I accept Jesus into My life. Fill every chamber of my heart with Your love. I need Your Holy Spirit to teach me and guide my every step. Show me Your wisdom and knowledge. Reveal what is hidden in my life, cleanse my heart, heal my hurts, take my guilt and anger away. I want to live in Your freedom. Make me an image of You. I give you my all. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray.”

A New Heart

“Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults. Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins: let them not have dominion over me:" Psalms 19:12-13

Error in Hebrew is to misuse, cheat, fraud. He is saying who in this world can discern his own misuse, maltreatment or sins? How can we know what is lurking underneath? Cleanse me from these hidden hurts and faults. Clean me, acquit me, make my secrets bare, let me know what I’ve done wrong and why. Make me blameless, guiltless and free. Keep me from presumptuous, prideful and deliberate sins. Don’t let them have dominion or rule over me. Don’t let these sins tread me down. Then I will be clear and innocent of transgressions, rebellions, revolts, and quarrels.

If we don’t have anything hidden, nothing can hinder or divert us away from God. In this verse, the word secret in Hebrew means to stop up. Secret things in our heart stop the blessings of God from getting in. His full love cannot flow through us. It is shut out from that part of our heart because something is in the way. We have to ask our Father, as David did, to remove whatever it may be. We can’t clean it ourselves, only our Lord is able.

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26

Even when we have served the Lord for years, we are still walking through life and making new memories. We go through hurts and disappointments. We might even gain guilt or try to hide sin.

Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart. Psalms 44:21

We can’t hide a thing from our Maker. He is the All Knowing. We can’t even pretend to be strong, He knows our weaknesses. God knows our vulnerabilities, He sees the tears of our heart. He wants us to be truthful with Him and tell Him what bothers us, tell Him what we are sorry for, tell Him every little detail in our lives. Our Father wants communication with us. We might as well just spill the beans, He knows all the details of our life any way.

Unloading on God is a way of showing that we love and trust in Him completely.

If we try to keep these wrongs or insecurities or fears hidden, we are pushing them into secret chambers of our heart. These things could become the hidden motivation for our actions. Unfortunately, if we don’t give them to God, they could have dominion over us and control our actions and how we live..

God says to guard our heart. Keep it from evil. What is in our heart is the source of our life. If we hold good, then we are good. If we let in evil, we are evil.

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23

The way we protect our heart is by staying in God’s Word. We pray His Word and we stay away from things that He doesn’t approve of. We still might be hurt by others, but God can help us through anything. We should seek Him in all situations. Our heart can be clean when God is first in our lives.

It Hurts!

My teaching is as precious as your eyesight--guard it! Write it out on the back of your hand, etch it on the chambers of your heart. Proverbs 7:2-3

We can have hidden wounds, we can have secret guilt's, resentments, or bitterness, maybe even pride that we have buried deep someplace where no one else knows of, someplace where we don't even remember. Some of these things can be to painful to deal with, to hurtful, so we have hidden them into a place that can hold them and we don't have to deal with them. Many times we cannot control what comes into our being. Circumstances around us affect our soul. What we grow up with and are exposed to determines what is put into our heart.

These hurts have come from different circumstances in our lives. Many times it is words alone that have cut the heart.
The words of a whisperer (are) like burns and they enter into the chambers of the heart. Proverbs 26:22

In Hebrew, a chamber is a room, an apartment, more specifically, to enclose.

Our Heavenly Father knows we have been hurt and He knows how we were hurt. The Almighty even knows where we have enclosed this pain at.God wants our will and understanding of Him to be whole, not separated by hidden chambers full of hurts and pain or guilt. Our Father wants all of us, totally committed to Him, nothing in the way, nothing stuffed in the corners, nothing hidden in the background. God wants us wholly devoted to him.

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37

Our self, our own thoughts and wants, even our hurts and woes must die daily, must be denied, crucified, given up. Our desires need to turn completely to our Lord. We have to decide to give these to the God.
When we accept Jesus into our lives, are hearts are made new, made whole. God has a big eraser. He wipes our slate clean.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

Unfortunately, we are still human. We still tend to want to do things ourselves and our own way, the way we know. We have a tendency of holding on to familiar things as a sense of security. After all, God did give us a memory.

St. Augustine of Hippo states, “what seems to be forgotten remains in the memory.” The memory is like a picture album. Some pictures are good, some are not, some are even faded.

The mind and the heart are similar and closely connected. The mind has the memory, and the heart knows and feels these memories.

After we ask Jesus into our heart, we can begin to grow in the Lord. We have to start cleaning out the closet that has all that junk stuffed into it so Jesus can take over all of us. He wants to fill every nook and cranny of our being. The only way to have this done is to ask God to help us.

Secret Chambers

In the Secret Chambers of Your Heart

Our heart is divided into different sections, they are called chambers. We have the right ventricle, left ventricle, right and left atrium, we also have valves that work like doors, we have a septum that keeps the two sides of the heart separated. There are many different parts to the heart, and we probably have places that we don’t know about or know their function yet. The doctors tell us not to put anything bad into our bodies, to keep them healthy. No smoking, no drinking or drugs, limit the junk food, fats, chemicals… it’s all bad for the body, bad for the heart. Stress is bad for the heart also. These things can cause heart failure. They can cause diseases.

Same with our spirit. If we choose to be surrounded with to much busyness or stress, keep anger or hatred, too much pride, entertain evil thoughts, gossip, indulge in evil movies, drugs, alcohol, or any kind of sin, our heart starts hurting. It hurts physically and/or spiritually. It can become desensitized to love and finally turn hard. It's not receiving life, it’s receiving death. Our spirit starts dying. These are not things from God, they are from the enemy. Our Father brings us life, the enemy brings death. We can have heart failure.

Heart in Hebrew is defined as the most interior organ, also used very widely for the feelings, the will and even the intellect; likewise for the center of anything.

God sees our heart, He does not see as we see.

...for the Lord sees not as man sees; man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7

God can see what we are really about. He Knows our thoughts, our feelings, everything in us. God knows more about us than we do. We have thoughts and memories that we don't even know we have, but He knows. We can have hidden hurts stuffed away in secret chambers that we have forgotten about years ago. We have a memory that retains information and a conscious that knows what is and has been going on.

How far is Heaven?

Where is heaven? What is heaven really like? Have you ever wondered these questions?

Heaven is usually pictured as a beautiful bright sunny place, no rain, no dark clouds. Gorgeous flowers bloom, maybe some thick green grass, rolling meadows, fluttering butterflies, birds chirping, angels flying around. Everyone in heaven has divine health. There are sounds of laughter and smiling faces all around, children and animals playing together. There are no worries, no troubles, no crying, no bills.... ahhh, to live in Paradise!

According to the Jewish notion, there are three different heavens mentioned in the Bible. The birds (fowl and eagles) of the air constitute of heaven as in Genesis 2:19, 7:3, 7:23 and Lam. 4:19.

Another heaven mentioned are the stars, moon and sun in the sky. (Deut 17:3, Jer 8:2, Matt 24:29) The "Heaven of Heavens", or the third heaven (Deut 10:14, 2 Cor 12:2) is the eternal dwelling place of the Lord. Christ called heaven His "Father's house" (John 14:2)

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1

Did you know God created the heavens for us? He made the butterflies, birds, sky, clouds, sun, moon, and eternal paradise all for us because He loves us. He is preparing mansions for us to live in. Our Father wants us to dwell with Him, He wants us to remain with Him forever. We are His children and He wants us near Him. (Matt 19:14)

We were with God before in the Garden of Eden, but then sin entered the picture and we were separated from Him. God cannot dwell with sin because He is pure love. Love has no evil in it. (1 Cor 13) Our own Father had to put us out of Paradise (Genesis 3). It was tough love, but He still loves us so much that He wanted to make a way for us to come back and be with Him eternally.

On the first day, God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was void and without form, kind of like a blob, and it was dark. God moved over the water and said "Let there be light" and there was light. The God said it was good and He divided the light and dark, called it day and night. (Paraphrased from Genesis 1:1-5)

And God said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters." Genesis 1:6

In other words, God made the sky, dividing the vapor (water) above from the water below. The firmament, or expanse, was like and arch appearing above us. It formed a division between the waters above and the waters below.

And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. Genesis 1:7

A firmament is a space or an expanse. It comes from the Hebrew word raqa' (pronounced raw-kah') which means to pound the earth (as a sign of passion); by analogy to expand (by hammering); to overlay, beat, spread abroad, spread forth or over, spread out, stamp, stretch.

And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. Genesis 1:8

God called the space between the waters heaven. Jesus is the space between the gap, Jesus is the firmament, the expanse between us and God. Jesus is Heaven. He was hammered to the cross for us, for every single sin that we have committed. He was beat for all we have done wrong. His arms were stretched out willingly for us, all because He loves us and wants to be with us. Jesus is the archway for us to heaven. Like the rainbow, He is the promise that we do not have to die and go to hell but we can live and reside with Him in heaven. When we believe in Him, we have access to everlasting life with God, we can be in paradise eternally.

Remember, God loves us so much that He wants us to reside with Him personally in His home. Jesus has spread His love out for us to reach the Father. God has given a pathway between us and Himself that allows access to Him.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

When we believe in Jesus, He raises us from the darkness to the light, He picks us up to a higher level. He gives us entrance into His love and fullness, into Heaven. When we receive Jesus as our Savior, He comes into our heart to live. He resides there. Because we have Jesus in our hearts, we are now a temple of God. If Jesus live within us, then heaven is in us. We have a piece of heaven right here with us on this earth.

Now we can come fearlessly right into God's presence, assured of his glad welcome when we come with Christ and trust in him. Ephesians 3:12 (Living Bible)

Thru Jesus, we can come to God any time we want to. We can enter into His presence and know that He is glad we are with Him. God's wisdom is revealed to us thru Jesus, thru His Word, thru the Bible.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

We are suppose to study His Word, we are to read the Bible so we can get to know God and His ways. (2 Tim 2:15)

The more we study, the more we get to know about God and all He has for us. We discover more about His love, His grace, His mercy and His tenderness, and we learn more about heaven.

As we learn, we realize that we don't have to die to be in heaven. God wants us to have Paradise here too. God loves for us to experience His goodness here on earth. He wants us to walk in His love to it's fullest. Our Heavenly Father desires us to have His blessings now.

The more of heaven we perceive, the more of the Father we receive, the more we are in love with God's intelligence, ways and wisdom, and the more faith we have in the Lord, the further we are in heaven. Seeking God and putting Him and His goodness first brings us further into heaven. We can have as much of heaven as we want, it all depends on our desires. If our first desire is the Lord Jesus Christ, and we seek Him earnestly, if we keep our eyes on Him, He will reveal the secrets of heaven to us. God shows us pieces of His splendor and glory. He shows us little glimpses of what our eternal life will consist of.

I knew a man in Christ 14 years ago. This man was caught up to the third heaven. I don't know whether he was in his physical body or not--God knows. But I know such a person. Again, I don't know if he was in or out of his physical body--God knows. This man was caught up to Paradise. He heard things which cannot be re-told; a man is not allowed to tell such things to other men. 2 Cor 12:2-4

We have heaven on earth, we just have to pursue it further. We need to take what our Father is handing us. He longs for us to receive Jesus, He wants us to have the heaven that He has created for us. He desires for us to have His wisdom and knowledge, His love, mercy and grace, His mind, His thoughts. When we have Jesus, we can have these things, we can have heaven. Our foot is in the door. We just have to keep walking with Him to go further in. Our faith needs to keep going. We need to keep believing every promise God has has for us and know for a fact they are true. He truly wants us to come further into His presence.

No matter how close we become to the Lord, we can always get closer to Him and receive more of His gifts (spiritual and physical). Look at Enoch, he walked so close to God that he just walked on into eternity. (Genesis 5:24)
Just as any good parent wants their child to have the best, our Father wishes us to have the best. How much better can you get than heaven? When we have Jesus, we have the best. It is our privilege to get to know Him better.

When Jesus died for us, He bought and paid for us with His blood, His life. He didn't buy us so we could sit on a shelf in a closet. Jesus bought us so we could be active in His life and love. He longs for us to be by His side, not on the sidelines. Jesus passionately loves us and desires to share all of His heavenly blessings and gifts with us.

All you have to do to start experiencing some of what heaven has for you here on earth is say a little prayer from your heart like this one inviting Jesus into your life:

Dear Lord,
I want a piece of heaven. I desire to be with you now and eternally. Thank You for sending Your Son Jesus to fill the gap for me and giving me a pathway back to You Lord. I ask You forgive all my sins. Jesus, I invite you into my life, into my heart. Lord I want all You have to offer me. I receive your eternal love and all Your goodness today. Thank You Lord for all Your blessings. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen

Letter from Jesus

My Precious Friend,

I am sending this letter by one of my disciples. I just wanted to let you know how much I love you and care about you and how I greatly desire to become a meaningful part of your life.

This morning when you awoke, I was already there with you in the light of my beautiful sunshine that filled your room. I was hoping you would say “good morning” to me, you didn’t. So, I thought maybe it was a little too early in the day to notice me!

Again I tried to get your attention when you stepped out your door. I kissed your face with a soft gentle breeze. I breathed upon you my fragrant sweet breath of scented flowers. Then I sang you a love song through the birds in the trees. You walked right past me!

Later on in the day, I watched over you as you were talking with some of your friends. Oh... How I wished you would talk to me also. I waited and waited, but you just went along your way.

This afternoon I sent you a refreshing shower and glistened to you from every raindrop. I even shouted to you a time or two with thunder trying to get your attention. Then, I painted you a lovely rainbow in the midst of my fluffy white clouds. I knew you would see me then, but you were unaware of my presence.

This evening, to close the day, I sent you a beautiful sunset. After that, I winked at you a thousand times through my stars hoping that you would wink back, you never did.

Tonight, when you went to bed, I spilled moonlight upon your face to let you know that I was there with you. I was hoping that you would talk to me a little while before you went to sleep. You never said a word, it hurt me deeply; however, I continued to watch over you all through the night thinking maybe, just maybe, you would say “hello” to me in the morning.

Each and everyday I have revealed myself to you in many strange and wondrous ways, hoping that you would accept me as your Shepherd.
For I am the only one that can supply you with all your needs. My love for you Is deeper than the deepest ocean and bigger than the great blue sky. I have so very much to give you and also share with you, please let me hear from you soon!

Your Loving Friend, Jesus

The one who wrote these words down on paper is unknown, but we believe this letter was inspired by Jesus Christ Himself.

Prayer for the poor

Bless those that have not seen Your love Lord, the ones that have been cheated out of it since childhood. Draw them close, give them an extra helping of Your love poured out on them. Keep them close. Thank you Lord for loving the unloved, wanting the unwanted, blessing the unblessed, and for finding the lost. Lord, if I seek You first, then I know everything else will be taken care of and fall in place. All the desires of my heart will come forth. You said ask and we will receive. I am asking You, the only One who can do this, I am expecting these miracles, and I know I am receiving them. I praise Your name for Your goodness.

Daily Prayer

Good morning Lord, Holy is Your name. You are set on high. You are the Only One that brings us joy, peace, safety, abundance, health, and all that is good. You are sufficient enough. Thank You Lord for keeping us safe through the night again, the enemy could not come near. We thank You for giving us good sleep and rest, for waking us up in Your presence this morning, for Your angels around us, and for Your never ending love that surrounds us. We praise You for walking hand in hand with us and lifting us up. Praise You for being in our lives, filling us with Your Holy Spirit, blessing us with Your gifts, taking care of us and watching over us at all times.

Thank You Lord for restoring ALL things that the devil stole from us. Bless us Lord, enlarge our territory for You, keep Your hand of protection and power upon us, let us use Your power with the authority You have given us, let us realize who we are in You. Keep us from evil so we hurt no one, and nothing hurts us.

Jesus- be the doorkeeper of our words and let only Your Word come forth from us, guard our lips. Let us fulfill the purpose You gave us here on this earth for You. Thank You for granting our requests– we want Your will done here on earth in our lives just as it is in Heaven.

Let Your glory fall from us as we come in contact with Your people. Let them feel and know Your presence from us. Use us for Your glory– touch them as we touch, speak to them as we speak, minister to them as we minister – Father bless others as we are with them and let them know it is all You Lord. Let people know Your love through us.

Thank You for Your protection around all of my family. We thank You for loving us and helping us grow in You, in Your ways. Each of us has a desire to be with You on Your path, and nowhere else. Our eyes are on You alone. We desire Your presence with us at all times Father. Thank You Holy Spirit for teaching us, showing us Your way, correcting us, guiding us and convicting us. Thank You Jesus for saving us. Praise You for filling each and every one of us with Your Holy Spirit and baptizing us in You. Thank You Lord for using my family and loved ones for Your glory.

What's wrong with you anyway

Psychoneuro-immunology or PNI, as Robert Ader defines it, is the study of the connection between the brain and the immune system. According to Wikipedia, “The main interest of PNI is the interaction between the nervous and immune systems, and the relation between mind processes and health. PNI studies, among other things, the physiological functioning of the neuroimmune system in health and disease.”

Where do the conflicts and where do the quarrels among you come from? Is it not from this, from your passions that battle inside you? James 4:1

We have conflicts and wars in our own mind. Our flesh wants something right now, or pride tells us not to be humble or forgive, or the devil puts lies in our head and we listen. This thinking causes our passions to rise up and brings strife, uncertainties, and unbalances within us. How we think affects our physical body. Accepting the enemy’s word is accepting corruption. Corruption in our hearts cause all fightings. These thoughts cause us to not seek God with our whole heart, which leads to sin.

Jesus said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’” This is the first and greatest commandment. Mathew 22:37-38

We are to love the Lord with everything in us. This includes all of our thoughts. This is for our good. To love God takes action on our part. It means to be loyal to Him, which is obedience to His every Word. Obedience because we want to. Obedience because we know and completely trust our Heavenly Father. If we love the Lord with all our heart, soul and mind, there’s no room to desire anything else, no desire to please our self. We are pure at heart, clean, spotless, and blameless. We are full of the goodness of God. When the heart and mind are pure, so is the body.

All is pure to those who arepure. But to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their minds and consciences are corrupted. Titus 1:15

To the corrupt and unbelieving though, nothing is pure. Corrupt comes from a word which means defiled, tainted, or contaminated. There is corruption within the heart mind and soul. When the mind is impure, the body will be also. The mind listens to and takes on the lies of the devil. What is thought and believed is what the body will respond to. PNI studies are finding this to be true. The unbeliever does not know the Good News of Jesus Christ. He does not know he can be set free from all dis-eases.

So keep the commandments, statutes, and ordinances that I today am commanding you to do. The Lord will protect you from all sickness, and you will not experience any of the terrible diseases that you knew in Egypt; instead he will inflict them on all those who hate you. Deut. 7:11, 15

Believing in God’s every Word and keeping His commandments keeps us from sin. We are totally pure inside and out. This keeps us dis-ease free. No evil no lie is within us. Not all Christians are pure and healthy, not all unbelievers are sick. An unbeliever only has to accept the Lord as his Savior to be made whole. A Christian has to accept that he has been made whole and walk in our Fathers footsteps.

God made us in His image, just like Him. We are made of His love, truth and goodness. Our heart knows His heart. He has written His Word in our heart. Unfortunately, evil enters the picture and tries to take this trust, knowledge, and love of God away from us.

All dis-ease and curses come from evil. Adam gave the devil an open door, and now we know sickness. We no longer have that complete trust in the Lord with every fiber of our being. Falseness has crept in. When falseness takes place of trust, life is sickened. When evil takes place of good, darkness can take over. When the devil takes the place of Jesus, death takes over. When doubt takes place of faith, damnation can take the place of salvation. If corruption or defilement stays within us, it takes the place of what use to be God’s love. Separation is beginning. Falsities destroy the life of understanding the Truth. Lies kill, steal and destroy the spiritual life which are made of faith and love. The spiritual life corresponds with the natural body so evil within the spirit can manifest itself into a sickness.

Believing anything but Gods Word can cause sin, confusion, hopelessness, disobedience (which causes grief and suffering), unforgiveness, strife, fear, and anything else that is not from our Father.

Hosea 4:6 says we are destroyed for lack of knowledge (of His Word). Our perfect likeness of God is destroyed when we let deceit in. Our image is less like Him when we believe a lie. Truth leaves while untruth prevails. The misleading of the devil takes us away from our Truth. If we let the enemy have his way, he will take over and kill us– mind, spirit, soul and body. Love brings life, evil brings death.

Believing a lie is taking the devil’s word over God’s Word. It’s believing in something that is not real. Can we call God a liar? Accepting the enemy's word is accepting punishment. Satan comes to kill, steal, and destroy. When we continue to believe and live in untruth, an evil seed is planted. When this negative seed is planted, some part of the body or soul is destroyed. This little root starts taking up space within the body and can manifest into a big ugly mess that can eventually take over the body and life and ruin it completely.

There is a reason for every dis-ease, a cause for every curse.

As the sparrow in her wandering and the swallow in her flight, so the curse does not come without a cause. Proverbs 26:2

Somewhere down the line, whether you, your parents, or grandma’s dad sinned, it has brought a curse. This curse can be passed down and manifested within you if it is not taken care of. A dis-ease represents the hurtful things in the spirit. A dis-ease is the breaking down of life within. When the spirit is contaminated, the beginning seed of wrong is planted and starts to root when the first offense takes place. This bad seed could have been planted yesterday or generations ago.

Having mercy on thousands, overlooking evil and wrongdoing and sin; he will not let wrongdoers go free, but will send punishment on children for the sins of their fathers, and on their children's children to the third and fourth generation. Exodus 34:7

We probably have no idea what great grandpa did, but accepting Jesus, confessing sins, and asking forgiveness breaks the curse. We don’t want any sin between the Lord and our heart.

...I am confessing the sins of the Israelites that we have committed against you – both I myself and my family have sinned. We have behaved corruptly against you, not obeying the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments that you commanded your servant Moses. Nehemiah 1:6-7

Ask God where this root of hurt came from and confess that sin. Forgive the offender. Could be yourself.

Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear; But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that He will not hear. Isaiah 59:1-2

Sin separates us from God. Disobedience and disbelief in the Lord are wrong. The wages of sin are death. Not believing in the Lord is not trusting His love for us. We have to love and trust the Lord with every thing in us, and know that He is good. We are commanded to love Him with all of our heart, soul, and mind. We have to accept God’s Word completely. This means total trust in every Word He says, every Word that He has written to us. Know how much we are loved by Jesus.

If we could accept God’s Word in it’s entirety, our whole body would be at peace, therefore healthy. No stress, not even a bit of untruth or unbelief within us. The mind would have the body completely calm and be anxiety free even in troubled times. We can be totally immersed in His love for us. Jesus Christ is the Word of God that we are to believe in. (John 1:1, 1:14)

The enemy doesn’t want us to know this. He doesn’t want us to know Jesus. The Good News and the Truth is:

But He lifted up our illnesses, He carried our pain; even though we thought He was being punished, attacked by God, and afflicted for something He had done. He was wounded because of our rebellious deeds, crushed because of our sins; He endured punishment that made us well; because of His wounds we have been healed. All of us had wandered off like sheep; each of us had strayed off on His own path, but the Lord caused the sin of all of us to attack him. Isaiah 53:4

Our Lord has set us free… He’s delivered us from evil. He’s forgiven all sins. Jesus died on the cross so we could have life– not sickness, death, or even lack. He let our wrongs attack Him instead of us. He took our sins, our curse, our punishments away so we could be whole - mind, soul, spirit and body. Our Shepard stepped out in front of us and took the blow from the enemy Himself. Jesus sacrificed His body to save ours.
If we could only get this into our head, the body would respond.

My son, be attentive to My words; incline your ear to My sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to him who finds them, and healing to all his flesh. Keep your heart with all vigilance; for from it flow the springs of life.Proverbs 4:20-23

The Word of God is the cure for every dis-ease. Keep it in the heart, it is healing to all flesh. God’s Word keeps the heart pure, therefore the body is dis-ease free.
Believing in Jesus makes us whole. Our faith in the Word is our healing. Acknowledging that Jesus is the Son of God, knowing He heals, forgives, saves and delivers lets us receive all of His goodness.

He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your disease.” Mark 5:34

We are made whole. We are made in His image - nothing broken, nothing out of place, nothing bent out of shape, no-thing wrong. This means disease free, no sickness, no curse, not even hopelessness. Everything Jesus heals is spiritual, which manifests into the physical. He says your faith has healed, now go in peace. The body is at peace when the mind is. We enter into the complete peace of Jesus Christ when we accept Him. We are to walk with Him in faith, He is our peace. Don’t walk in unbelief and lies. Jesus died to cover everything that could cause an unhealthy life. He took death and destruction and replaced it with a life of abundant health and prosperity.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. John 10:10

When we understand that our Father in heaven loves us just the way we are and we receive His goodness, we will find that healing has taken place. We will know that deliverance has come. Knowing who we are in the Lord truly sets us free.

We easily believe what the devil says... “you have a headache, you have cancer, there is no cure for this disease, you have four months to live…” yet the devil is the father of lies. Why can’t we just as easily believe, and accept the Truth?

The Truth is we are healed, the Truth is we are children of God, the Truth is we are blessed, the Truth is we are forgiven completely, not partially. The Truth is we are made whole in our spirit, mind, soul, and body.

Christ carried our sins in His body on the cross so that freed from our sins, we could live a life that has God's approval. His wounds have healed you.1 Peter 2:24

It's finished. It’s done. No more sickness. It’s all gone. Accept it. Believe it. Embrace it. When we have no doubt that Jesus loves us this much, peace and joy takes over including complete deliverance.

Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

God wants His children to be in His love and perfect peace where there is no sin or sickness. (He put us in the Garden of Eden in the first place.) He says don’t worry about anything, talk to Him and tell Him your needs and requests. Tell Him your hearts desires. Let Him know all about it. He already knows, but He wants you to recognize Him as your Provider, your Healer, the One who loves you, your Heavenly Father, the Almighty God. He wants a personal relationship with you. He guards your heart and mind when you lean on Him. His peace, your healing, is presented to you in His presence.

The opposite is also true. If we are not in His presence, we don’t have His peace. We can’t have the Lord’s blessings if we aren’t walking with Him.

Your misdeeds have upset all this, your sins have deprived you of these blessings. Jeremiah 5:25

Fortunately, God is a God of restoration. We mess up occasionally, but our Heavenly Father has provided a way for us to turn around and come back to the perfect relationship that He wants us to be with Him in. Jesus is that way.

So submit to God. But resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:7

When we can submit our self to God alone, and not even give the devil a second thought, we can have this life of abundance our Father wants to hand to us. We don’t have to accept the lies of the devil, we don’t have to be in bondage. Diseases aren’t aloud to touch us. Yield to God, hear His Word, resist the devil and his ugliness has to leave.

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

If we are God’s temple, the Truth is in us. The enemy can’t live here. We are holy and we are to treat ourselves as such– physically and spiritually. If we let sin abide in His house, it’ll destroy our relationship with our Father and cause separation. We are to remember that we aren’t our own, we are bought and paid for by Jesus Christ.

Finally, brothers and sisters whatever is true, whatever is worthy of respect, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if something is excellent or praiseworthy, think about these things. And what you learned and received and heard and saw in Me, do these things. And the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:8-9

There is a definite connection between the mind and the body. Think about things of the Lord. Don’t dwell on misleading thoughts. Know what the Lord knows– know His peace, His forgiveness, His Truth, His love, and know beyond a shadow of a doubt you are healed.

1 Corinthians 2:16 ... we have the mind of Christ.

When we have Christ in our heart, we have His mind, we have His thoughts. His Spirit resides in our body. We are His temple, remember?

The bottom line is to have Jesus Christ completely saturate your heart, your life. The relationship between you and God is the most important part of your healing. Stay in His presence, obey His Word. Repent daily, remain pure and receive His peace, His goodness, and your healing.

Having Christ live in your life is as simple as saying a prayer from the heart-Lord, I know you love me just as I am, no matter where I have been or what I have done or how I feel. Jesus, I thank You for forgiving and dieing for my sins which can cause sickness and taking every one of them away. I want all the good and perfect things You have for me. Come and cleanse me, live in my heart.

That’s all it takes– you can now start living in all the blessings of God. Receive His perfect peace, perfect health, live in His abundance. Read His Word and know it is Truth, don’t believe anything else.

Sonja's Testimony

I knew a lady who had just about everything she ever needed. A loving husband, a beautiful house, plenty of money, wonderful children. Sonja had a good life.

Until the enemy came to her one day in the form of a “friend”. He told her she could have more, she deserved more. He told her she could live it up if she just tried some cocaine. Just a little bit, it won’t hurt anything and nobody would even know.

She tried a little bit, then a little bit more. She liked the party life. Pretty soon, the devil had her hooked on it. Cocaine is expensive, so the money was disappearing. The savings account was drained, the bank account never had enough in it to cover bills, the electricity couldn’t be paid, the cars were lost and furniture was sold for the drugs.

Not only did the devil lie and tell her it wouldn’t hurt anything, but he stole her money. Worse yet, it was causing a strain in her marriage. Sonja’s husband left. Her children didn’t want anything to do with her because she put the high first.

Now satan had taken her family, friends, house and possessions– it all started with just a little lie.

She had been wandering out in the streets high for a couple days, she doesn’t remember how many, but she was tired of it. Tired of the high that wasn’t doing any good, tired of not being loved, tired of being rejected, no family, no friends, no more fun. She couldn’t take anymore of what the devil was doing.

Being high for so many days, she was ready to give up. Sonja felt worthless and had no hope because everything she loved was gone now. She had nothing left to hold onto. Her heart was filled with pain, sorrow, and utter despair. She knew that nothing she would do could fix anything, nobody in the world could help her. Her circumstance would never get better. She didn’t care if she died or not, her life on this earth as she knew it before was over any way. Death couldn’t be any worse than it was now.

Before she blacked out from an overdose for several days, she remembers crying out for Jesus. Just one Word – Jesus. If there is an ounce of hope anywhere, it’s in a higher power than anything in this world. When we’re in a place where the only other way to look is up, we instinctively know that we can cry out to Him. God has placed in each of us the knowledge that He is the Almighty.

But the Word is very near unto you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you may do it. Deuteronomy 30:14 In her heart, Sonja knew He was the only hope there ever was. She remembered Grandma telling her about Him. If there was a God, He would hear her and save her.

She was out for days, not sure how many because she didn’t know what day she passed out on. She only remembers calling out to the Lord in desperation. She doesn’t know if the cry actually came out of her mouth, or was only in her mind.

God heard. God in His amazing mercy reached down and touched her. He reached down to the bottom of her world, under the bridge where she lay as everybody else passed her by, and He touched her. Her healed her on the spot. He gave her rest her body needed, restored her health from years of drug abuse and healed her from the addiction of cocaine. When Sonja woke up, she didn’t even have a craving for the stuff in the least. She knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that a miracle had taken place, a miracle straight from God Himself . He had saved her life, transformed her heart, gave her new hope, and filled her with His joy.

Sonja found a church to go to, and just a couple weeks later she had a job and roof over her head. Her husband is coming back around and her children actually like their mother again.

This is a true story, it is a testimony of what the devil does, and what God can fix. Remember, don’t listen to the lies of the enemy. Don’t follow his path of destruction. You are not worthless, you are God’s child. You are loved. Jesus died to give you life, a life of abundance, peace, forgiveness and more. And that’s the Truth!

Don't listen- he's lying

How did you come to fall from the heavens,Daystar, son of Dawn? How did you come to be thrown to the ground, conqueror of nations? You who used to think to yourself: I shall scale the heavens; higher than the stars of God I shall set my throne. I shall sit on the Mount of Assembly far away to the north. I shall climb high above the clouds, I shall rival the Most High.' Now you have been flung down to Sheol, into the depths of the abyss!
Isaiah 14:12-15

A long time ago, Lucifer use to be a wonderful musician. He began to think he was going to have his throne higher than the stars of God. He exalted himself and thought he could rival with the Lord God Almighty. We know who the winner is, there is no comparison. The devil is no where near the goodness of the Lord.
Unfortunately, the devil still ain’t learned that part yet. He’s still kicking and fighting. He’s throwing a fit and trying to take everyone else with him. Just like a spoiled rotten kid that says “If I have to be miserable, everybody else has to be too”. One bad apple can spoil the whole bunch.
The devil is full of pride, and doesn’t want to be the only one in hell, he is angry and doesn't want you to have what Christ can give you– life. He is a no good rotten liar, and he wants you to believe him, instead of the Truth– which is Jesus Christ. If you end up believing the enemy, you’ll end up right where he wants you.
One of the biggest tricks the enemy does is to lie. It’s what he does best, it’s what he is. He doesn’t know how to tell the Truth because the Truth is not in him. He will deceive those who don't know the Truth. The devil paints a pretty picture, tells them something exciting, something interesting that they want to hear, makes them feel good ...for a while.
But God in His grace can hear the smallest cry from the deepest parts of the earth. His ear can hear the cry of His child anywhere. And the best part is, he’ll pick you up from the dirtiest, nastiest, filthiest place there is without hesitation if you ask. He loves you that much.

Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: Isaiah 59:1

I don’t care what you've done, where you’ve been, where you are, or where your headed, if you cry out to the Lord for His help, He will hear you. The devil wants to tell you there’s no hope and he wants you to believe it. He wants to tell you there’s no way out, your worthless, but he’s lying again. He trying to hide the Truth.

"But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." II Corinthians 4:3-4

The devil doesn’t realize the fact that many people cry out to the Lord in desperation when they can’t take any more. So satan’s plan has backfired, and God gains His child back.

And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the Lord because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a Saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them. Isaiah 19: 20

When we decide to stop listening to the lies, turn from the wrong way and look to God and accept His Word, we are saved. The situation we were in has turned around, our Lord works everything out for His glory to those that love Him.

And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord. Isaiah 59:20

The love of sin is no longer in our hearts, the want to be with God and in His ways has taken over. We’ve known all along that Jesus is the answer, it just takes some of us a little longer to figure it out. When we turn from the lie, we will find the Truth. He has always been there. We have come to the crossroads.
We don’t always have to be on rock bottom to cry out to the Lord. Those of us who know the answer still sometimes have a habit of listening to the devil. He still tries to hide the Truth, he tries to steal the Word even when we have it. Sometimes we listen to the word of the devil and not the Word of God. This exalts the enemy instead of God. We need to brake that nasty habit and begin to know the full Truth.
Knowing the Truth is as easy as reading your Bible. Pray and ask God to reveal His Truth to you, His every promise. Study His Word and know the real Truth. Walk with the Lord and keep His commandments you will come to know His ways, His love, His pure goodness, who He really is. There is no lie within Him.

Jesus said to him: I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father but by Me. John 14:6

When you accept Jesus in your life, you’re on the road that leads to heaven and all it’s glory to be with your Lord. You’re on your way to knowing the complete Truth. You can learn all about your Savior and how much He loves you.
You can know Jesus better than you know your best friend. You will know that the fact that the Lord gives good things, nothing evil. He does not give a spirit of fear. Our Heavenly Father gives peace and contentment. He doesn't give strife or chaos. Our Lord gives you joy inside and fulfillment in knowing Him.
God says you are important, you are worthy, you are His child, therefore you have everything that belongs to Him– love, grace, mercy, forgiveness, all that is good.

“You don’t know how precious you are to Me. Your words cannot express how I feel about you. My love for you is indescribable. “ -God

When you accept Jesus, take His every Word, not just part of it. You can have and hold the Truth, the whole Truth, and nothing but the Truth. Know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Jesus loves you.
Remember, when the enemy tries to fill you with despair, hopelessness, or even fear, don’t listen to the liar. He only comes to kill, steal, and destroy your life, the life that Christ died for. Remind the devil of what God’s Word says– that you are a child of the King with all of His blessings and all your sins have been forgiven.
