God's Provision

God gives us everything we need. All He has is available to us because He’s our loving Father. If it's in God's will, you can just ask and receive.  God will not give you anything that is not from Him, or not in His will.

Sometimes we forget the fact that we have access to our Father's provisions.  We tend not see what is in set in front of us. We lose vision of what is set before us. We forget that we have been set free through Jesus and given everything in promised land.

The Israelites let their eyes fall short of the vision given to them. They quickly forgot that God was going to make them a great nation thru Abraham. They forgot they would be blessed thru Abraham. They didn’t even remember that God said He would give them a good land, a large land that flowed with milk and honey~ it had everything they needed, abundantly.

Since plenty of milk was going to be provided, they had to have the source it came from...cow, sheep, goat, soy, coconut, rice, almonds, and/or other sources. These things were not just going to be there sparingly, they were to be in abundance. This means they would also have clothing, tools and shelter made from the animals. The honey comes from flowers, flowering trees and bushes. This means there was plenty of fruit, vegetables and herbs available for food, good health and medicine if needed. There was no lack.

The Israelites were headed for the promised land, but their vision became distorted. They started focusing on themselves and couldn’t see what was in front of them. They couldn’t even remember what God had just brought them from.

God had just delivered the Israelites from the enemy. He led them out of Egypt- which means "limit". They had been in bondage over 400 years. They had no freedom, they had no future. The Israelites were limited, they merely existed. God's people could not truly live. They were slaves to the enemy.

The Israelites took their sights off of God and set it on themselves shortly after they were set free. They were used to someone else taking care of them- which was the Egyptians- and they never had a vision of being totally free. They never grabbed the vision of the promised land. The Israelites did not see the goodness of God and His provision.. His pro-vision.. the vision He set in front of them….they chose to focus on self. They saw what wasn’t there any more, what used to be and found it good in their eyes. They convinced themselves they were happier in bondage. Their thinking was wrong.

Exodus 16:1-3 On the fifteenth day of the second month after they had left Egypt, the whole company of Israel moved on from Elim to the Wilderness of Sin which is between Elim and Sinai. The whole company of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron there in the wilderness. The Israelites said, "Why didn't God let us die in comfort in Egypt where we had lamb stew and all the bread we could eat? You've brought us out into this wilderness to starve us to death, the whole company of Israel!"

The Israelites had not long ago had the blood of the Lamb applied to their lives when God told them to put the blood over the door posts so the angel of death would see this and pass over them.  The blood of the Lamb represented Jesus.

When you start to serve the Lord, when you cross over to the other side- the winning side with Jesus Christ- the enemy gets mad and comes after you kicking and screaming, causing havoc in your life, just as the pharoah did to the Israelites after he let them go. If that doesn't work, he whispers in your ear that it was better where you were at before. He appeals to your flesh and makes it seem as if the truth that set you free wasn’t really good. The enemy tricks you into thinking that you are lacking what you had before.

In reality~ you have just gained the everything good that exists thru Jesus Christ. When you have Jesus, you have everything. When you accept Christ, you have gained salvation as a gift, you have gained God’s joy as a gift, healing as a gift, peace, forgiveness, and everything else the Lord has within Him.

Proverbs 29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”

The Israelites died in their own vision, in the place they wanted to stay in.  The new generation who caught the vision went on to be there. They knew God was the provider.  They took His Word and kept it in their heart.  They moved on to bigger, better things, which was God's provision, His abundance. They came to know what He had in store for them.  Their faith in God's promise brought them into His abundance and goodness.

Never lose faith that God provides. Never lose sight of what God has put in your heart, even years ago. God has given you a vision, know that it will come to pass.  Accept the change that comes with it. God's plan is for you to get where He wants you to be, which is in His goodness.  Don't lose vision.  Always know that your Father in Heaven has so much love for you, He has awsome plans for your life, and He is your provision.

3 John 2 Beloved, I pray that in all things thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Just Like You Jesus

Lord,  I pray that I have your thoughts. If only I could see you standing right here next to me, I want to react exactly how You would in every situation. Let my heart feel like Yours Jesus. Let my reactions be like Yours; let my words be as Yours. Give me the compassion for people that You have. Let my eyes see as You see Lord and my hands do as Yours do. Let me know exactly how You think Lord, let me know You more. I ask for more insight and revelation each and every day about You and who You are. Let my love for You grow within me because I know that You are love, pure love. There is nothing else in You. Every good thing is within love; every good thing is within You and comes from You alone. I want to know You. I pray every fiber of my being knows You, my heart, mind, soul and body. I want to grow to be just like You Jesus.

Dry Bones Can Live!

THE HAND of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; it was full of bones. And he led me round among them; and behold, there were very many upon the valley; and lo, they were very dry. And he said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" And I answered, "O Lord God, thou knowest." Again he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live. And I will lay sinews upon you, and will cause flesh to come upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live; and you shall know that I am the Lord." So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone. And as I looked, there were sinews on them, and flesh had come upon them, and skin had covered them; but there was no breath in them. Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live." So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great host. Ezekiel 37:1-10

Ezekiel 37:1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones.

God showed Ezekiel a valley full of bones- really dry bones. After battles, the bodies were often left in the field to decompose. They were not buried. This is what Ezekiel was looking at. A battle had taken place long ago, the bones were dried out. Not an ounce of life in them. No blood, no flesh, just dry.

The word dry comes from the root word yabesh, meaning to be ashamed, confused, or disappointed, also to utterly wither. Some of these bones that were there were people that had not come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ yet. They were confused and in the dark. They were fighting a battle with no chance to win. They had no real reason for living. There was no hope for a future. Theses bones were dried and probably cracked. Little did they know what God had in store for them.

1 John 5:12 He who has the Son has life; he who has not the Son of God has not life.
The other bones were Christians that were spiritually dead. They didn’t have a relationship with the Living God. Christians without a relationship with Christ can feel worthless. These bones were in a valley. They were in a low point. Depression can settle in the spirit without the knowledge of the love of Christ. The feeling of unworthiness, undeserving, or inadequacy can cause the spirit to shrivel up and become dry. If we are in sin, we are dying- or even when we are looking the wrong way and not looking to God, we become hopeless. Looking to other gods or putting our trust in something other than God is sin. There is no light in this situation, but Jesus can revive us again. All we need is one word from the Lord.

Ephesians 2:1 AND YOU he made alive, when you were dead through the trespasses and sins

God sent a prophet to this pile of bones. He sends His messengers to bring His Word. He gives us preachers and teachers and ministers, or anyone He chooses to use to bring us His life giving word.

2. And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.

This verse says there were many of them. Very many bones in the valley. One version says vast quantities. All around us are dead people. Lots and lots of them. Can God use you to speak life to them? God made Ezekiel walk around them, pass by them, he was walking among these dried up bones. That’s what Christians are doing today- walking by spiritually dead people every day.

3. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? and I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.

God asked Ezekiel if these bones could live. Just like a teacher asking a question. God already knows the answer, but maybe He was letting Ezekiel think a little. In our minds the answer is obviously no- not without a miracle! The only one that can give life is God Himself. With God, all things are possible! If we had the faith of a grain of a mustard seed, nothing would be impossible either, but that faith is still in our God who gives life.

4-6 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

God told Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones. In other words, speak or sing to them by inspiration. Tell them to hear the Word of the Lord. Preach to them, minister to them, show them the love of God. Testify. Give them life through God’s Word. Tell them God will make them whole again. Tell them God will give them flesh and muscles and put skin back on them. He will refresh them. He will put the breath into them and they will know that He is Lord. Tell them what God has done and can do, what He will do. Prophesy to them. God’s Word IS alive and it brings life to the dead! He is life itself. Jesus Christ is God’s Word, bring Jesus to them. When He touches you, you know He is God.

When God speaks, things happen. Whether He chooses to use somebody else’s voice or not, His Word brings life. His Word brings life and healing. God’s voice brings life and light into our world. It brings reconstruction, reformation, and things that were a mess become orderly. Things that were not come into being. When you speak God’s Word, things happen, whether you can see it or not. The truth comes out and the lies have to leave. The lies of death, the lies of sickness, the lies of unworthiness and every other lie has to leave when the Truth enters in.

7. So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

Ezekiel prophesied as God had commanded, and God brought up the bones. There was a shaking, a rattling- one version says an earthquake. God took the old dry bones and shook them up. The Word of God shakes people up. His Word can cause excitement in your bones, cause a stirring in your heart and butterflies your being. His Word can give goosebumps to your flesh and awakening to your soul. His Word can also pierce you to the inner depths of your heart.

The Lord caused an uproar in the dead bones. They came together, bone to bone. Even if the bones weren’t connected, He brought them together. Their lives were no longer a mess. The enemy might have torn them apart, scattered pieces here and there and had their lives in shambles, but God puts everything back in order.

8. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

Now the framework is done, they can have a firm foundation to stand on- Gods Word. But God doesn’t stop there, He always completes the work He starts, The Lord renews and makes whole. He fixes everything perfectly. He gave them muscle. He gave them strength. The enemy had knocked them down in battle, but God can raise them up and give them strength to stay up. We can’t do much without muscle. We would be weak. God is our strength, He gives us His strength.

After the muscle, He put the skin on them to contain everything. The skin protects and clothes the body. All God has for us can be contained in this package He gave us called the body. Just as He has given us skin for our body, our Lord also covers the believers soul with garments of salvation and with the robe of righteousness. (Isaiah 61:10) The believers are the body of Christ. The only thing left to do now was to breathe on them, to give them life.

See, the bones had heard the Word of the Lord, they came together, they were formed and whole- except for life. They were now ready to live, ready for eternal life. Adam and Eve committed us to eternal damnation through sin, but thru God’s Word, Jesus Christ, we can receive His Holy Spirit and live forever with Him.

9. Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

God told Ezekiel to speak to the Wind- or speak to the breath. “Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.”  The breath here is the God's Holy Spirit. So Ezekiel did as God commanded and spoke to breath, and He came into them. They started breathing, they stood up, and they lived.

We can speak to the Holy Spirit to breath on those we love, to our family and friends, to bring them life, His life. Ask God to give them ears to hear with and eyes to see Him. The Holy Spirit can breathe on us and revive us again. He will bring life to the lost souls of the world.

We can look like we are alive, but be spiritually dead inside. Even if we go to church every time the doors are open we can still be a walking zombie. If we are not connected to the Holy Spirit, His Holy breath, God’s Word, we could be old bleached up, dried up, dead walking bones.

10. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

So Ezekiel spoke to the Wind as God had commanded and the Lord raised them up, He raised up an exceedingly great host- a lot of people, a humongous army. Ezekiel was obedient and God brought revival to that place. He obeyed God and look what happened! Because of one mans obedience, look how many hearts and lives were blessed! Can you imagine seeing all of your loved ones come to the Lord? Every single one of your friends serving the Lord? All of their friends walking His way? Everyone around you on fire for Jesus Christ Himself! They all received His Word, and they all received His Spirit! The obedience of one person can save generations to come. Just say "Yes Lord!"

God raised up an army. When we hear God’s Word and accept Jesus in our heart, we receive His Holy Spirit in us. We are automatically on God’s side now. We are in His army. We fight for His cause, for souls to be saved and lives to be healed. God equips us with all the gear we need to fight the battle. We’ve got truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6: 11-17) He is the commanding officer, all we have to do is obey, and He actually fights the battle for us. It is by His Spirit that battles are won.

We live in this world, but we don't fight like people in this world. For our fight we are not using weapons which come from this world. No, our weapons come from God. They are powerful enough to break down strong forts. 2 Corinthians 10:3-4

Whatever the situation is that caused the dryness, Jesus can revive your very being. He is the Living Water. Get back into reading God’s Word and soak it up. Study the Bible, listen for God’s voice, hear His Word and let God bring life back to you. Let Him take over and take control. When you let Him do things for you, He does them perfectly and completely!

And I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land; then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken, and I have done it, says the Lord." Ezekiel 37:14

You have not seen, but you still believe.

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. John 20:29

Blessed are the ones who have not seen the answer to prayer yet, but still believe it will be done. Blessed are the ones who have loved ones out in the world, but know they will come home soon. Blessed are the ones who are sick, yet have faith in a miracle. Blessed are the ones who do not understand the circumstances, yet are convinced God is in control of all. Blessed are those who are unsure of where they are going, but obey the Lord anyway. Blessed are the ones who can’t see around the corner, but step out in faith. Blessed are the ones standing in the darkest hour yet their eyes are fixed on Jesus. Blessed are the ones in a hopeless situation, yet they’re confidence is in their Savior. Blessed are the ones who have lost all, yet they are certain of the love of the Lord. Blessed are the ones who have nothing, yet trust in their Heavenly Father. Blessed are the ones who don’t have to see with eyes, but are persuaded by the knowledge in the heart.

Blessings can only come from the Lord Himself.  Being blessed shows that God's presence and His goodness is with you.

To believe is to have firm faith. Having this faith in the Lord is trusting Him, knowing His Words are true. Faith is the divinely inspired human response to God's historical revelation through Jesus Christ. (dictionary.com) This is completely believing in the love and goodness of God with no room for doubt. Having faith is expecting.

Even though we have not seen tangible proof that God has answered our prayer, we are happy and content in knowing He has heard our prayer. We accept the goodness of the Lord, no matter how or when He chooses to answer us.

We cannot see the end of the road, we don’t know the whole picture. Sometimes we can’t see the light, and everything looks hopeless, but our heart tells us God is right here. We are loyal to Jesus Christ because we are positive He is true to us. We know that we know.

We can be going thru the worst times and about to be pushed into the fire, but we are truly blessed when we trust our God. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego would not bow down to Nebuchadnezzar. They would never bow to any other god. Nebuchadnezzar was the king of Babylon- the king of confusion. His name means to overflow, to mix, to confound or mingle. The devil likes to mix the truth with a little lie. He mingles what seems to be good with pure evil. They wouldn’t bow to worry of what could happen, confusion the enemy tried to put in their lives, or fear of death the king of this world tried to impose on them. These men would not bow to an image or illusion. They knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that their God was real. He is bigger than all of these things. Their hearts were fixed on the love and deliverance of the Lord no matter how He chose to free them. They could not see a way out, but they were positive that God was with them. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did not know the answer, but they believed in the Lord.

The woman with the issue of blood had no other hope. She hemorrhaged for 12 years and man had no answer for her. She thought within herself- she believed, “If I will only touch the hem of the robe of Jesus, I will be cured.” To touch meant to attach oneself. She wanted to be attached to Jesus. This woman wanted to be connected to Jesus. She knew in her heart that she would be saved if she came to Him. She would be delivered, protected, healed, and safe in Jesus hands. Even though the woman had not seen her healing yet, she believed in the Lord.

The people were begging him; they only wanted to touch the tassel of his robe. And all those who did touch it were made well. Matthew 14:36  People from all over came to Jesus, they trusted that He would save them and make them whole. Their faith was not in the physicians, it was in Jesus. These people, like the woman with the issue of blood, were divinely responding to God’s revelation of Jesus Christ to their hearts. They believed.

We are truly blessed when we put our faith in the Lord in every situation. We can be happy and content knowing our Lord is in control. Not only are we spiritually blessed, but our bodies also benefit from believing Jesus. Casting our cares upon the Lord relieves stress and worry. These things can physically cause ailments in the body. Peace comes thru trusting God.
....and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he. Proverbs 16:20

Know that God is God; believe He is for you, not against you. Trust He has you in the palm of His hand and can take care of all things. Our Heavenly Father has been in control since before time began, and He still is. Keep your faith.

What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.
Hebrews 11:1 Living Bible

Do not give up and do not grow weary. Just believe.

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

I am Your Vessel Jesus

Lord– I want to have my whole life committed to You, not just most of it. Every single waking moment I give to You Lord. Turn my every single thought to You. May I think of nothing else but Your ways God. Make my thoughts Your thoughts Father.

I want my conversations to be of You, I want my conversation to be with You. I want them to be Your words. May I speak life to others Lord. Every single move I make will be ordered by You, don’t let me move on my own account. I pray I do nothing against Your will, nothing in my will Lord.

I am Your temple. Reside in me, abide in me, live in me, live thru me, speak thru me. I am Your vessel Jesus. Holy Spirit– teach me all I need to know, grant me wisdom in all areas of my life. My heart beats for Yours Lord, my every breath is for You. There is nothing else- nothing else in this world I want or need but You.

Do You Accept His Proposal?

I will betroth you to me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion.
I will betroth you in faithfulness, and you will acknowledge the Lord. Hosea 2:19-20

God wants to take you as His bride forever. He will be honest and faithful to you. He will show love and compassion toward you. His love for you is tender and sweet. You will be a bride dressed in white- there will be total forgiveness and restoration for you.

It doesn’t matter what you’ve done before or where you were. It doesn’t matter if you’ve loved other things before God, or even if you’ve sinned countless times- God still wants you to be His Bride.

…Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, so that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word, that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:25-27

Our Lord is so faithful- He will never turn His back on you. His love is so strong that it breaks all that binds you. He washes you clean Himself. Our Lord prepares you for your wedding day with Him through His Word. You will be radiant!

I feel a divine jealousy for you, for I betrothed you to Christ to present you as a pure bride to her one husband.
2 Corinthians 11:2

God wants you all to Himself. He wants your heart pure for Him. Are you going to say “Yes” to God’s proposal? Will you say “I do” to Jesus?

Marriage signifies the union which exists between Christ and the Church. Accepting Jesus into your life creates the union between you and Christ.

Do you want to receive the love that the Lord has offered you? Do you take Jesus Christ as your Savior? Do you believe He has died for your sins and that He rose again as proof that He is God’s Son? Do you invite Him into your heart to live forever? Will you love Him, honor Him, cherish and keep Him above all others as long as you shall live?

Repeat after me:   I take You, Jesus, as my Savior. I thank you Lord for forgiving my sins. I know You died and rose again for me. I invite you to live in my heart and reign forever in my life.

Congratulations! You are now the bride of Christ! Jesus has entered into your heart and has saved your soul. You now have a place reserved for you in Heaven. You may walk and live with Christ for eternity.

Your Maker is your husband— the Lord Almighty is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called. Isaiah 54:5

Now start living your life with Him!

I Want Us Together

I spoke for you before you were born. I spoke for you before the world began. I spoke for you again when I died on the cross. I called you.

Jesus prayed to our Heavenly Father about you specifically, the one He loves. He pleaded for your soul, your future, your safety, your life.

My plea is not for the world but for those you have given me because they belong to you. And all of them, since they are mine, belong to you; and you have given them back to me with everything else of yours, and so they are my glory! Now I am leaving the world, and leaving them behind, and coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your own care, all those you have given me, so that they will be united just as we are, with none missing … I'm not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from Satan’s power. They are not part of this world any more than I am. Make them pure and holy through teaching them your words of truth. … I am not praying for these alone but also for the future believers who will come to me because of the testimony of these. John 17:9-11, 15-17, 24 LVB

Jesus’ heart is that you come to know Him and live with Him eternally. The very reason Jesus died was to save you from Hell. He died in hopes that you would accept Him as your Savior and live. Jesus has called you by name. Hear His voice. You are His. Receive His love.

This is an excerpt from our new book  "Because, I Love You".

Dancing with Jesus

One the first day of a five day service in a little Spanish church during the praise and worship time, Jesus came to me and asked me to dance. I was so excited and of course said yes. We were dancing arm in arm, like they did in the olden days when everybody skipped around the dance room together or did the Irish jig. Jesus was right beside me. It was fast music. It was like a festival.

The next day of the service during worship, I saw Jesus dancing in a beautiful rolling field. He asked me to join Him. We were dancing and laughing and having a wonderful time together like little kids playing and celebrating.

The third day, Jesus again came and asked me to dance. This time He was in front of me. We were face to face. We danced ballroom style, hand in hand. We were once more celebrating, but we were closer together, more involved with each other.

Again, the fourth day during praise and worship, the Lord asked me to dance. This time we were slow dancing. We were closer than ever. We were embraced, as in a slow waltz. We were celebrating our lives, our love, and our closeness together.

The fifth day came and I waited for the Lord to ask me to dance. I knew He would. We had such a good time the last couple days together. I waited patiently. I was praising Him and still waiting to see Him. It seemed like I waited for a long time. I started wondering if He was going to come and ask me again. I even started getting a little frantic because I knew He was in the room, but I couldn’t see Him. I wanted to dance with my Lord again. How come He wasn't inviting me? I didn't understand. Finally, I said, “Lord, I can’t see you. Where are you? Aren’t you coming to dance with me today?” He answered me. He said, “I am right here. I am in your heart. I am dancing with your heart.”

We have danced and celebrated each other ever since.

I celebrate with My Lord everyday. I can dance with Him at any time. I am no longer in captivity by the enemy; I can celebrate my freedom with the Lord at all times. Jesus is with me at every moment, He never leaves me. There is an endless list of things to thank God for– it is a never ending fiesta!

We are the temple of the Lord, He lives within us. We can celebrate and dance with Jesus whenever we want to if we’ve invited Him in our lives.

And the people of Israel, the priests and the Levites, and the rest of the returned exiles, celebrated the dedication of this house of God with joy. Ezra 6:16

...The Words that I Speak unto You, They are Spirit, and They are Life. John 6:63

The Words that God gives you are life for your body, soul, and mind. God’s Words are Truth. God is Love. There is no evil within His Word. Jesus Christ is the Word.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John 1:1, 4

Diseases come when lies of the enemy replace the truth of God. If you have known the Word of God, if you have asked Jesus into your heart no matter how long ago, you were filled with the goodness of God. You were given the Truth.

Accepting Jesus is accepting everything He has. Accepting Jesus is receiving eternal life.

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. John 17:3

When we come to know Jesus, we come to know Love. God is Love. Jesus is the Truth that comes from Love.

The devil, being what he is, does not like the fact that you can know the Truth. The Truth is you have been healed by Jesus’ death on the cross.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5

When our life is abounding with God's Truth, love, and faith, our sprit consists of no evil. There is no sickness that comes to our body. There is no room for disease when it is full of God.

and you shall know the Truth, and the Truth will make you free." John 8:32

The enemy’s job is to come in and try to take the Truth away. He wants to replace that goodness with deceit. He will put little lies into your spirit negating the Truth of God’s love for you. The enemy will tell you your unworthy, you are no good, your not loved, you have don’t have to forgive anyone because they did you wrong, you deserved to be treated like that. He can even tell you to be mad at the One who created you because of what happened. The devil can put a spirit of fear into you and tell you that you are unaccepted by everyone.

All this strife causes dissension in your spirit. This untruth spoken into you clashes with the peace God gave you, then chaos and disagreement start developing. Lies start replacing Truth. A root of evilness -sickness– is born as a result of this discord. This disease is straight from the devil and he is on his way to completing his mission. This little offense can start growing whether you know it or not.

Knowing the Truth and holding on to it keeps us clean and healthy. Staying in God’s Word and keeping it lets us walk in victory. Trusting in the Lord keeps us from receiving the evil one’s nastiness.

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. Psalms 112:7

Our Father keeps and protects us when we stay with Him.

You shall therefore be careful to do the commandment, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which I command you this day...And the Lord will take away from you all sickness; and none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you knew, will he inflict upon you, but he will lay them upon all who hate you.
Deuteronomy 7:11, 15

We can’t think we can run with the devil and have the presence of the Lord. It just does not happen that way. We can have either or. Living in sin causes diseases to come upon us. This is the same as living in a lie. Not keeping God’s commandments is rejecting the Truth and accepting the lies of the enemy. Sin is an invitation for corruption. Where the spirit is corrupt, the body will be also. Staying in the Lord’s Word secures our happiness.

He who gives heed to the word will prosper, and happy is he who trusts in the Lord. Proverbs 16:20

Those who have not been drawn by God’s Holy Spirit do not know the Lord yet. They haven’t been filled with the knowledge and understanding of His love. They do not have the divine Truth in them.

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
John 9:1-3

Because some do not know, they have not seen the Light. There is darkness within and sickness can be present. This is for God’s glory that when the Truth is revealed, ignorance is removed. When the gift of God’s Word is accepted, our Father is exalted and Jesus is lifted up. Darkness flees and the Light shines thru. When sickness leaves, God gets the glory. Other people see this and wonder how it came about.

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Genesis 1:3

God’s Word brings in the light. His word is life and truth.

Jesus saith unto him, I an the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

Accept the Word He gives you, know the Word He has spoken is truth. Know that His Word brings healing and life, not destruction and death.

...The Words that I Speak unto You, They are Spirit, and They are Life. But there are some of you that believe not... John 6:63-64

Jesus paid for your cure on the Cross with His stripes. Believe it.

From My Heart to Yours Lord

I thank You Lord for Your inexhaustible mercy upon me. I thank You for Your beautiful grace. I praise You for saving my soul. There is nothing I have done to deserve it; it comes completely from Your undying glorious love for me. I thank You that You are a forgiving God. You engulf me in Your love Lord, You hold me in the palm of Your hand. You keep me under Your wing. You are a loving Father that dotes over me. You sing over me, You sing with me, You sing to me. You set me in Your freedom.

I love to hear Your voice. You think such lovely thoughts over me. You speak good things for me. Your words are pure and amazing love to my spirit. My soul boasts in You Lord. My soul can only bless You Lord. You are worthy of all praises. You are worthy of all worship.

I know You love me because I have not been worthy. I have done wrong yet You have compassion for me. You take my sin and throw it away. You see what is under the rottenness, You see potential in me, You see goodness in me. You see something I do not see. I praise You for being in my life and loving me just the way I am Lord. I praise You for Your divine goodness You pour out on me Lord.

I thank You Lord for the blessings You give me- Lord I praise You for washing, cleaning, molding, and filling me with You Lord. I thank You for transforming me into what You want. Take my heart and do what You will. I pray that I become as a picture of You Lord. May I glorify You all of my days.

Don't Turn Away

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and turning to a different gospel-- not that there is another gospel, but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.  Galatians 1:6-7

If we are not careful, we can quickly change sides or be transferred to another place– we are reverted from the One who called us.

God is the One who draws you close to Him. Jesus said, “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:44 It is by invitation from the Heavenly Father only that you come to Jesus and receive everlasting life in His Kingdom.

The Lord made you, has excellent plans for you, knows what you have gone through, what you will go though, and how you will handle it when you are going through it.

Don’t turn away and go back to the familiar things you knew before. They didn’t work then, and they won’t work now. They may have been comfortable, but they are not effective.

We can’t be like the Egyptians who wanted to turn back to their old way of life because it was something they knew and thought was better.  There may have been familiarity there, but it was bondage.

People can be easily persuaded to turn away from the right path. They go with the flow and tend to veer to what seems to be the easy road. If it sounds good, it must be good. This is not always true.

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.  James 1:8

Don’t turn away from the One who called you don't be  lead astray. Stay in the promises of God by knowing Him. Read your Bible, study His Word– get to know your Lord and Savior. Stick with Him and know the Truth. Don’t give in to other peoples ways, beliefs or teachings just because they are appealing or sound right.

My son, watch your step before the Lord and the king, and don't associate with radicals. For you will go down with them to sudden disaster, and who knows where it all will end? Proverbs 24:21-22

There’s only one way– the true way. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the Truth. ...Repent ye, and believe the gospel. Mark 1:15

If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him, and he will gladly tell you, for he is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask him; he will not resent it. James 1:5

God is always willing to guide you in every area of your life, He tells us to ask Him. Don’t turn away from the One who loves you.

Are you true to the Lord?

Proverbs 14:25 A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh lies.

The book of Proverbs is a collection of wise sayings to give knowledge to the simpleminded and the young, or more wisdom to the wise. This particular profound thought tells us that a “witness who tells the truth saves men from being sentenced to death, but a false witness is a traitor.” (LVB) If we are a true witness for Christ, we will bring people His way. We will lead them in the right direction. True witnesses bring Truth.

Being a Christian, we work together for Jesus. We are all on the same team- we should have one goal in mind- to give glory to God in everything. This includes showing others God’s glory so they too can see His grace. Being a follower of Christ means having His characteristics.

2 Corinthians 3-10 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

We are to try to live in such a way that no one will ever be offended or kept back from finding the Lord by the way we act. We should live this way so no one finds fault with us and blames it on the Lord. In fact, in everything we do, we are to try and show that we are true ministers of God.

A minister is simply a servant. We serve Christ. Our service is for the Lord. We can talk to, care for, listen, and show love to others. Another meaning of the word minister is waiter. As in waiters at the restaurant, we can wait on people and serve them what they need from the Lord. We serve Christ.

As a Christian, a true worshipper of God, we will bring glory to the Lord. Our lives will bear fruit. We will not cause a stumbling block to anybody that “our ministry not be blamed” as in verse 3. Doing or saying ungodly things can hinder God’s glory. It could cause a soul not to come to the Lord. It could cause them to despise the Light. Corrupt acting does not show truth, it will not help take the blinds off anyone’s eyes. Hindrance in their growth can also be a result of our immorality. This does not bring anyone to the Lord.

Even though we sometimes face hardships, we are to patiently endure, knowing that God is with us the whole time. Thru all trials we are to show the love of Christ to others.

Acts 11:20-21. But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Greeks also, preaching the Lord Jesus. And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number that believed turned unto the Lord.

These men spoke of Jesus. They spoke the Truth. When they spoke, they were preaching. Whether in a pulpit or not, to preach is to announce good news, to declare, bring or show. Undoubtedly, they showed the love of Christ to others and lived an upright life. God was with them and many people turned to the Lord because of this.

Acts 11:24-26 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord. Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul: And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

Barnabas was a good man. He was filled with the Holy Spirit. He lived a godly life. Being a servant of the Lord that had seen His grace, Barnabas showed Christ to everyone he could. Because of this, many more people were added to God’s Kingdom.

Verse 26 states that Barnabas and Saul stayed in that particular church for a whole year teaching the people. They were showing the Lord’s ways. They were training people how to follow Christ. Again, undoubtedly, Barnabas and Saul were living a righteous lifestyle careful not to do any sin that could affect anyone’s walk with the Lord in a wrongful way. These disciples were first called Christians here. The word Christian means “follower of Christ”.

A Christian is an instrument of God. We are to be used for His purpose. Yielding to God’s still small voice can allow us to be used as His tool in bringing others to eternal salvation.

A true Christian takes Jesus Christ seriously and believes every word written in the Bible. We totally believe all His promises. We are to form our life by Jesus’ examples, rules, and commandments. Christ’s faithful followers are sold out to Him. Nothing but God and His will should be important in life to a believer. Leading souls to Christ is at the top of God’s will.

Acts 9:31 Everywhere in Judea, Galilee, and Samaria, God's people had a time of peace. With the help of the Holy Spirit, the group became stronger and stronger. The believers showed that they respected the Lord by the way they lived. Because of this, the group of believers grew larger and larger. SIM

Living for the Lord doesn’t come overnight. It takes a lifetime. We live and we learn. We learn by reading God’s Word, by praying, by listening and being taught by someone who knows a little more than we do in that area. We always have room to grow. Give others the same chance to grow in the Lord by living the right way. Do not hinder them by what they might see or hear from you. Lead their hearts in the right direction.

Matthew 12:33 Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by its fruit.

Matthew 12:35 The good man out of his good treasure bringeth forth good things: and the evil man out of his evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

Be a true witness for the Lord and bring forth good fruit for Him. Carry good treasure with you to share with other souls. Speak the Truth and let others see Jesus. Be true to the Lord.

Acts 5:14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.
