God's Spirit on My Family

Thank you Lord that You have given me, my spouse, my children, my grand children, future grand children and all our families the gift of salvation. I believe in Your Son Jesus Christ, therefore my whole family is saved. Along with the gift of salvation comes Your Spirit Lord, Your wisdom and understanding, counsel and might, Your knowledge and the Spirit of the fear of the LORD. You give us revelation of Your goodness so we can know who You are.
We are so blessed to be the temple of Your Holy Spirit. God, we have Your Son in our hearts. We do not have the bondage of fear but the Spirit of adoption, so we can call out “Abba, Father!”  You have drawn us with Your love, You are our Father- the One who loves us unconditionally.
You have given us so much Lord! You have poured out the spirit of grace and mercy on our lives. We receive Your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.  All of these are within us because of Your love for us!
Your Spirit of life has set us free from the law of sin and death, we have Your freedom upon us Lord!  Your truth is within us always guiding us.
My family has not received the spirit of the world but Your Spirit Lord, that we can know and understand the wonderful gifts You have freely given us. Father, thank You for the mind of Christ.
Through Jesus we are forgiven, we are healed, we have abundant prosperity, we are rescued and protected, we are given strength. My family is set free from the enemy and are slaves to You Lord God.  Now we do things that lead to holiness and the result is eternal life in Your Kingdom!
I praise You Father for being in our lives, for loving us just the way we are, for fixing, repairing, molding, shaping, holding, guiding and leading us.  I thank You for being here with us.
I thank You in the name of Jesus Christ for all You do.
            Amen

Prayer for our Nation

Forgive those of us who have grown stale and stagnant Lord, who have become luke warm. Forgive those of us who have become complacent. We have put You aside, or even on the back burner.  Forgive the ones who have another God before You Lord.

Thank You for Your mercy upon this great land You have given us Lord.  You gave us this land so we could worship You freely, so we could honor and follow Your Word ~ Your Son, Jesus Christ.  It is not the  land that is great, but You who gave it to us.  Without You Father, we are nothing, we have nothing.

Bring us back to You- let us live in Your Kingdom as we did before with You leading us.  Let us live in Your love, protection and guidance from this day forward. Help us to speak Your Words and stand up to what we know is right in Your eyes. Keep Your hand upon our nation; You are our strength.

Bless You Lord for Your Love

My soul and all that is within me will bless You Lord, I will bless Your holy name.  I will never forget all the good things You do for me- all the mercy and grace You have given, the love You pour out on me- I will not forget.  I will dwell upon Your goodness.

You forgive all my sin, You heal all my diseases, You have redeemed my life from the pit of hell and crown me with lovingkindness and compassion, grace and tender mercies.  Lord, You satisfy my life with good things so that my youth is renewed like the eagle’s! You have filled my life with joy and blessings!

Father, You always do what is right for all who are treated unfairly. Justice is always done to the oppressed, to the burdened and the ones bound down.  Your goodness always comes through.

You have made Your ways know to Moses Lord, and You make them known to me also. You reveal Your will to me, the road I should take. You show me your promises and plans.  Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.  Lord, make me strong in Your ways. You reveal to Your works to Your children, we can see what You have done.

You are a compassionate and merciful Father.  You are slow to anger and abound in unfailing love. Your grace is so abundant. You are always ready to forgive.  You will not abandon or destroy me, You will not forget the covenant with my forefathers. My soul will bless You Lord and remember Your love.

A Prayer for His Children

Lord, I pray for all Your children, the ones that know You and the ones that will soon know You.  I thank You Lord, that we are filled completely with the knowledge of Your will through all wisdom and spiritual understanding.  We will walk worthy of You Father, fully pleasing You, being fruitful in every good work and always growing and increasing in Your knowledge.

Thank You Lord that we are strengthened with all might according to Your glorious power and we have great endurance and the patience we need.  We are filled with Your joy.  We continually thank You Father for letting us share in the inheritance of the saints who live in the kingdom of light.  For You have rescued us, delivered us, from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of Your Son whom You love, who has redeemed us, purchased our freedom, and forgave our sins.

Thank You Father for Your mercy, Your kindness, Your love toward us.  I thank You for giving us the opportunity to live in Your kingdom.  I know You are drawing hearts toward You and You will complete and perfect the work You have begun in each and every one of Your children.  I praise You Father for this, You are good.

Your love will fulfill Your purpose for me, for my loved ones, for the lost, for the backsliders, for ALL of Your children!  Your love endures forever.  You will not abandon the works of Your hands, for You have made us Lord. Keep us strong to the end, so that we will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Keep us Strong Lord

Help my family grow strong and mighty in Your Word Lord. Each and every day let us be able to stand in faith and know that You are God, You are in control, and You are victorious.  Help us grow abundantly healthy and thriving in Your ways. You have planted us by rivers of water that provides everything needed to be fruitful and prosper in You. You are the vine, we are the branches.  May we be unbreakable in faith Lord.  Let us not wither ever God. Let us not be swayed but stand firm in You Father.

Thank You for holding us, guiding us, teaching us, loving us.  Thank You for Your favor that is upon my family. Your banner over us is love.  We are the head and not the tail. You are our hope, our light, our salvation. Through You we are able to withstand any hardship for You are our strong tower. You walk with us through fire. If we fall, You pick us up. You carry us when we can’t go on any longer.  You are our strength. Help my family grow strong and mighty in Your Word Lord.  Bless Your children.

Prayer for Healing the Sick

Your Spirit is upon me Lord. You have anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, You are sending me to heal the brokenhearted, preach deliverance to the captives, recover sight to the blind and set free the ones that are bruised. I will say to the sick, “God’s Kingdom has come near to you.”  Your Word heals Lord. Your Word alone sent forth heals all. Your Word delivers all from destruction.

I have freely received the power against unclean spirits and will cast them out. You have said I can heal all manner of sickness and disease, I can cleanse lepers, and raise the dead in Your name Jesus. Therefore, I claim broken and crushed bones made whole again, torn ligaments and muscles mended back together. Backs are aligned to perfection. Nerves are restored with no injury and placed exactly where You intend them to be. Organs, cells and tissues are fully operating and completely functional.  I declare bodies healed and delivered of all toxins, chemicals, and evil in the name of Jesus. I thank You Lord for speedy recoveries and miracles. You are the ultimate healer and physician.

Lord, You have said, “I will come and heal him." You have seen his ways, and will heal him. You will lead him also, and restore comforts to him and to his loved ones. You create the fruit of his lips; You say “Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near".

The sick and hurting have cried to You and You have healed them. They stretch forth their hand to You, now they are clean. They have Your peace, Your life, Your blessings. We receive and thank You for these gifts in the name of Jesus.

Prayer For Our Service Men (and Those in Danger)

Lord, You are my light and my salvation. You are my life's fortress, my stronghold. Who is there to be afraid of? When evildoers and enemies close in on me, they stumble and fall. Even though an army sets up camp against me, my heart will not be afraid. Even though a war breaks out against me, I will still have confidence in You Lord. You always protect me from wicked people who attack me, from murderous enemies who surround me. In my distress I call to You Lord; I cry to You, my God, for help.

You thunder from heaven, Your voice resounds, You shoot forth Your arrows and scatter my enemies, You flash streaks of lightning and confuse them. Father, I thank You for reaching down from on high and taking hold of me, You draw me out of deep waters.  You rescue me from my powerful enemy, from the ones that hate me and were to strong for me.  They attacked me in my distress, but You are my support.  Lord, You led me to a place of safety, because You delight in me.  I am Your child and I rest in the knowledge of Your love.

Father, You are my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer. You are my shield, my refuge, You subdue people under me. Lord, I thank You for guarding my life and rescuing me. Your name is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. I am devoted to You. You are my God. In You Lord, whose word I praise, I trust; I will not be afraid, for what can mortal man do to me? I know Your arm is not to short to save me, Your ear is not to deaf to hear me.

One thing I ask from You LORD, this is what I desire: to remain in Your house all the days of my life in order to gaze at Your beauty and to meditate in Your temple. For I know You keep me safe in times of trouble, You hide me in Your shelter and set me high upon a rock. I dwell in Your shelter Almighty Father, therefore I will rest in Your shadow.  I rejoice in You Lord! I take refuge in You and in my heart I will forever praise You!

Prayer for My Children

Thank You Lord for building my house, I do not labor in vain.  You have heard my heart’s desire for my children and answered my prayers for them.  You have built my house for me and I know You are able to perfect and complete the work that You have started in my family until the day of Jesus Christ.  I have no greater joy than to hear they follow You Father.  You have given me my children as a heritage and a reward.  They are a gift from you.  As for me and my house we will serve You Lord for I believe in You, therefore my whole family will be saved.

Jesus, You have drawn my children close to You.  They know You are the way, the truth and the life.  Your Holy Spirit draws them into Your presence, into Your kingdom. They wash their hands and purify their hearts with Your Word.  Their loyalty is with You Lord, not with the world.  Their focus is on You My King.  My loved ones see Your goodness and desire to walk in it each and every day. They are eager for Your presence God.

My children are righteous and will hold to their ways, they have clean hands and will grow stronger. They are purified by obeying Your truth and have sincere love for their brothers, they love one another deeply from the heart. They have peace that comes from You ruling in their hearts, they are called to live in peace and are thankful for this.

My children walk not with the wicked, stand not with the sinners, nor sit with the scoffers. Delighting in Your commands, they think about Your ways day and night. They are as trees planted by the rivers of water yielding fruit in season and their leaves never wither. You have caused my children to prosper in all they do.

My children are disciples taught by You Lord, great is their peace and undisturbed composure. You have given them knowledge of secrets of the kingdom of heaven. Your Spirit teaches them all things and reminds them of everything You have taught them before. All You teach them is true, You teach them Your deep things Lord. They have not received the spirit of the world but Your Holy Spirit Lord, that they may understand what You have freely given them.  All they have received has been by revelation from You Christ.  I know You will keep them strong until the end, so they will be blameless on the day of Your return Jesus. Thank You Lord!

Psalms 71- Prayer for My Family

Lord, You are our refuge! In You we trust. We will never be put to confusion! Save us from our enemies, for You are just! Rescue us! Bend down Your ear and listen to our plea and save us. Be to my family a great protecting Rock, where we are always welcome, safe from all attacks. For You have issued the order to save us. You have commanded it! Rescue us, O God, from these unjust and cruel men.

O Lord, You alone are our hope; we've trusted You from childhood. Yes, You have been with us from birth and have helped my family constantly--no wonder we are always praising You! Our success, at which so many stand amazed, is because You are our mighty protector. All day long we'll praise and honor You, O God, for all that You have done for us.

And now, in our old age, don't set us aside. Don't forsake us now when our strength is failing. Our enemies are whispering, “God has forsaken him! Now we can get him. There is no one to help him now!'' O God, don't stay away! Don’t be far from us! Come quickly! Help! Destroy them! Cover them with failure and disgrace--these enemies of mine. We will keep on expecting You to help us. We praise You more and more.

We can’t count the times when You have faithfully rescued us from danger. We will tell everyone how good You are, and of Your constant, daily care. We walk in the strength of the Lord God. We tell everyone that You alone are just and good.

O God, You have helped us from our earliest childhood--and we have constantly testified to others of the wonderful things You do. And now that we are old and gray, don't forsake us. Give us time to tell this new generation (and their children too) about all Your mighty miracles.

Your power and goodness, Lord, reach to the highest heavens. You have done such wonderful things. Where is there another God like You?

You have let us sink down deep in desperate problems. But You will bring us back to life again, up from the depths of the earth. You will give us greater honor than before, and turn again and comfort us on every side.

We will praise You with music, telling of Your faithfulness to all Your promises, O Holy One of Israel. We will shout and sing Your praises for redeeming us. We will talk to others all day long about Your justice and Your goodness. For all who tried to hurt us have been disgraced and dishonored.

One Word

Your voice alone Lord can cause the world to shake.
One word from You can change everything.
One word can cast out fear, cast out loneliness, cast out depression.
One word can overfill me with joy.
Your word can heal all.
One word can repair a broken world.
One word from You Lord, can speak eternity.
Just one word takes away darkness and brings light.
It repairs hearts, renews lives, brings brand new beginnings.
One word can change a soul, change a family, change a generation, a nation.
Your voice alone God can restore the world.

Open my heart so I can hear a word from You Lord.
