I Will Walk in Your Ways Father

Lord, I will not be afraid of sudden fear, nor of the destruction of the wicked when it comes. You bring me peace. You're my protector, my security and confidence.  You are always at my side helping me walk in Your ways. Your word keeps me in the light on the right path.

I will not keep from doing good to those who deserve it when it's in my power to help them. You have given me love, I can give love. You have given me forgiveness, I can forgive. You have given mercy, compassion, kindness and patience; therefore, I too, can give these. I will not put off until tomorrow what I can do today for others, for tomorrow may never come. 

 

I don’t plan harm against my neighbor who lives peaceably besides me. This is not Your will. I will not accuse anyone for no reason when they have not treated me wrong. Strife is not in my heart. I do not envy a violent person, nor desire any of his ways. I choose Your peaceful ways Lord because I know You detest wicked people, but are a friend to the upright. You curse the house of the evil, but bless the home of the righteous. You scorn the arrogant scoffers and oppose the proud, but You give grace and favor to the humble and afflicted.

The ones who listen to Your words will inherit honor and glory, You bring divine favor to the wise. They shine like the brightness of heaven, but fools receive disgrace.

Lord, I hunger for Your wisdom, reveal Your heart to me. Let me live in Your presence God and rest in Your goodness. Hold my hand tightly as we walk. Lead me, I'm Yours. Jesus, You are my life.

Your Wisdom is Precious to Me

I will not forget Your teaching Lord, my heart keeps Your commandments because I know they bring me long life, peace and prosperity.  I bind Your kindness, truth, love and faithfulness around my neck- they are written deep in my heart; therefore, I have favor in Your eyes and the eyes of man.

 

I trust in You with all my heart and I don’t lean on my own understanding.  I acknowledge You in all my ways and You make my paths straight.  My own ways are not wise Lord, I turn away from evil for this brings health and healing to my body and strength and nourishment to my bones.

Because I honor You with my possessions and best parts of all my income, You bring me abundance and fullness in all I need.  All my provisions overflow from Your goodness. I have no lack.

I do not despise Your discipline Lord and I am not upset when You correct me because I know that You love me, You are my Father and You delight in me.

Your wisdom brings blessings to those who find it. I will continually seek You Father. I will always look deeper into Your word so I can gain understanding of who You are that I might see Your heart. Knowing You is far more precious than silver or gold, it is beyond the price of rubies or any jewel on this earth.  Nothing shines or sparkles like Your love Lord, Your wisdom is so valuable to me.  Nothing I desire compares to You.

The wisdom You bring offers me eternal life, heavenly riches and honor.  Its ways are so pleasant and sweet. Your wisdom shows me peaceful paths. I embrace the tree of life You have placed before me, Your wisdom blesses me, I will hold it tightly. 

 

By wisdom, You laid the foundations of the earth. By understanding, You set the heavens in place. With Your words, You created everything! By Your knowledge, the deep waters were divided and the skies drop down the dew.

I will not let wisdom and understanding out of my sight; I will keep hold of Your teachings and use them for Your glory Lord. They are life to my soul and grace to my neck. They bring health to my whole body.  I can walk in confidence and my foot does not stumble. I lie down and I am not afraid, peace is with me and my sleep is sweet and pleasant.

Thank You Father for teaching me. In the sweet name of Jesus Christ, amen.
