Father, we seek the peace and prosperity of our country
which You have brought us to because as it prospers, we too will prosper. We
lift the United States of America up to You.
We come before You to make petitions, prayers, and intercessions for our
authorities and we give You thanks on behalf of all men. We pray for our
government, our president, the representatives of our states and nation,
and all those who influence them. We intercede for the leaders You have placed
before us including mayors, judges, principals, policemen, pastors, preachers, teachers,
military personnel and all those in power. We call all fathers forward to be
the spiritual head of their household Lord.
We commit the leaders of our towns to the leaders of our nation into
Your hands that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and
holiness. This is Your will and it
pleases You because You want all people to be saved and to come to know the
truth.
Create in our leaders pure hearts God, and renew a right and loyal spirit within them. Give them new hearts and new spirits; remove the hearts of stone and give them hearts of flesh. Let them love You with their whole heart, soul, and mind. Give our leaders ears to hear Your voice and eyes to see Your beauty and love.
We pray our leaders do not conform to the pattern of this
world, but are transformed by the renewing of their minds so they may know what
Your good and acceptable and perfect will is. If any lacks wisdom, let them ask,
for You give generously to all without finding fault, and wisdom will be given
to them.
We will not stop praying for our leaders Father. It is our
desire that they be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and
spiritual understanding; That they walk worthy
of You Lord, pleasing You, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in
the knowledge of You. Let Your Holy
Spirit guide their lives and give them comfort in knowing You are with
them.
Lord, we are submitted to our authorities, for we know all
authority comes from You, and those in positions of authority have been placed
there by You. For they are Your handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good
works, which You have prepared in advance for them to do. You are the One who
changes times and seasons; removes authorities and raises up others. You give
wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the understanding.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people You
have chosen as Your heritage! Keep Your hand upon America and our leaders
Father and cast out all enemies. Our land
is in need and left all alone, we put our hope
in You Father God and we continue night and day to pray in the name of
Jesus and to ask for Your help.
