Lord, let Your people who are called by Your name, humble themselves and pray and seek Your face. Let us turn from our wicked ways so You will hear from heaven and forgive our sin and heal our land. Let us humble ourselves before You so You can lift us up.
Father, forgive the ones who do not know any better, the ones who have not known You, who have not been taught Your ways or seen Your love, for they don’t know what they are doing. Open their eyes so they can see, give them ears to hear. Draw their hearts to You Lord. Show the unbelievers Your grace.
Touch every single leader of our nation. Guide them in righteous ways. If there are any hearts of stone, turn them to hearts of flesh. Give them and new heart and a new spirit. Let Your plans become their plans Lord.
Heavenly Father, forgive the backsliders of our nation. We have been a stubborn and rebellious people, but please forgive our iniquities. We have been faithless. You tell us to return and You will cure us of backsliding. Yes, we come to You, for You are the Lord our God. We return to You with all our heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning. You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We turn from our evil ways and practices so we may stay in the land the You gave to us and our ancestors forever and ever.
God, hear the cries of the righteous and save our nation. Claim us as Your own special possession Father. Do wonders never before done in any nation in all the world so all that live among us will see how awesome Your works are! We will boast in You Lord.
You are merciful and compassionate, slow to anger and over flowing in gracious love. You are always ready to forgive and change Your plans about sending punishment. We thank You for Your Spirit of love and mercy upon us. We thank You also for Your Spirit of conviction upon us and for giving us the chance to repent from our ways.
You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to You.
Be pleased with our repentance Lord, teach us Your ways so we can know You and continue to find favor with You Father. Remember that this nation is Your people. We are one nation, under God. We have been founded upon Your name Lord. We praise You Father for keeping Your hand upon us, for never leaving or forsaking us.
