Launch Out into the Deep

In Luke 5:4, Jesus had just finished teaching people from Simon's boat. He then spoke to  Simon, "Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught." The word "deep" comes from the root word meaning profound, it also means extent or mystery. The word "draught" means a catching, a haul (of fish).

Jesus is calling you closer to Him, He wants a deeper relationship with you.  Let your faith step out into the depths of the unknown with Him. Trust the Lord in all things and go deeper into His presence, then let down your nets and watch the blessings roll in.

Studying His Word, praising and worshiping, and praying all bring you closer to the Almighty.  Launch out into the deep, into the profound  knowledge, wisdom and mystery of the Lord. As you do this, the Lord pours His blessings and gifts out on you.  He gives you revelations of wisdom and knowledge which also equips you to spread the Gospel. Everything He shares with you can be shared with others. This goodness and love of the Lord blesses them, draws them in, and it can bring them to the knowledge of Christ.

Not only are you blessed by immersing yourself in His love, but others are too. So launch out into the deep and let your nets down for the draught.
