The righteous cry out and You hear us Lord, You rescue and deliver us from all our troubles. You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. Lord we know You heal broken hearts and bind up wounds. You are near to those who call on You, to all who call on You in truth.
Father, I call Your Name, out of the lowest pit. You hear my cry for relief, You draw near and tell me not to fear. You, my Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the One who lifts my head. I cry to You and You answer from Your holy mountain. I come to You weary, burdened and heavy laden, I know You will give me rest Father. Help me take Your yoke and learn from You for You are gentle and humble in heart, and I will find rest for my soul. I know Your yoke is easy and burden is light.
I will not fear because I know You are with me, I will not be dismayed because You are my God. You strengthen and uphold me with Your righteous right hand. You give strength to the weary and increase the power of the weak. I will trust in You Father with all my heart and not lean on my own understanding.
How blessed are we who mourn, for we will be comforted. When the cares of my heart are many, Your comfort brings me joy. From the ends of the earth, I cry to You for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety, for You have been a refuge for me, a tower of strength against the enemy.
